Marian Haugh began working in book stores after her youngest started high school. 
The former public health nurse soon decided to go into business for herself and decided to specialize in books printed in large type. Her work involves obtaining new and used large print books from numerous sources, finding new sources, restocking her area in the Denver Book Mall, and working at the Mall a few days each month. She finds the work challenging and physically demanding but extremely rewarding. She especially enjoys finding untapped book resources and the social aspects of her business.
